  1. Foreign language classes are run according to a fixed language course programme published at the beginning of each semester.
  2. It is compulsory for the students to attend the language course in their language group only. Changing the group that students have been originally assigned to is not allowed.
  3. Students’ presence at Polish and Latin course classes is mandatory.
  4. When absent from a class, students are obliged to present a legitimate excuse for that absence at the subsequent language class the latest. The student is obliged to practically demonstrate the knowledge to the teacher within a month.
  5. Each semester ends with a credit. The language course ends with a credit or examination according to the schedule.
  6. Credits for the language course are given on the basis of the student’s pass marks from all the classes of the course.
  7. Students are allowed to correct their negative marks at the time specified by the language teacher.
  8. The form of testing during the course is chosen by the teacher conducting the classes. The type of the final examination (written and / or oral) , common for all groups in a given year, is chosen by the language teachers in cooperation with the Head of the Language Department.
  9. Students doing a given year of their studies for the second time can be exempt from attending the language course, if the previous year they obtained at least the lowest pass mark in the very language.
  10. Students who are active at classes, attend classes regularly and achieve the average 4,5 in the whole course (4 semesters) may be exempt from the final exam.
  11. Students who attend classes regularly and whose average is at least 4,0 may be allowed to take the “zero” exam.
  12. The Dean and the University Tutelary Officers are informed by the Department of Foreign Languages about the good progress or otherwise of the language course students.
